PSF sell-off

ISLAMABAD: The Cabinet Committee on Privatisation approved the privatisation of Pak-Saudi Fertilizers in its meeting held here on Thursday which was chaired by the Minister of State for Finance, Makhdoom Shahabuddin.

The sale of Pak-Saudi Fertilizers was approved at a rate of Rs 109 per share as against the reference price of Rs 83.5 per share which is 13 percent of the reference price. The Pak-Saudi Fertilizers has been sold to M/s Emirates Investment Group as they were the highest bidder, says a handout.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Industries & Production, Governor Sindh, Chairman Privatisation Commission and the senior officials of the concerned ministries.-APP
