NEW DELHI: Sixty people were killed and more than 100 injured when a passenger train collided with a stationary goods train in northern India on Thursday, the Press Trust of India (PTI) said.

The accident took place near the town of Gorakhpur, some 240 km (150 miles) from Lucknow, the capital of the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, the news agency said.-Reuter
