ISLAMABAD: The Cabinet Committee on Privatisation approved the privatisation of Badami Bagh Works of PECO in its meeting held here today. The meeting was presided over by the Minister of State for Finance, Shahabuddin.

The Badami Bagh Works of PECO were offered in three lots of land and CCOP approved the privatisation of lot B and C as bid prices for the land in these two lots exceeded the reference price. The lot B was sold at a sale price of Rs. 305 million against the reference price of Rs. 268 Million and the lot C at the bid price of Rs. 18.7 million against the reference price of Rs. 10.4 million.

The meeting was attended by the Governor of Sindh, Minister for Industries and Production and Adviser to Prime Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs.-APP
