Lahore today

LAHORE: The trade and industrial exhibition of Islamic Republic of Iran arranged by the Consultate General of Iran will be held here at Fortress Stadium from April 17 to 27, 1996.

This was stated by the Consulate General of Iran, Lahore Muhammad Taqi Jamshidi here on Tuesday.

He said that the exhibition will provide an opportunity to the private sectors of both the brotherly Islamic countries to extend economic cooperation.

He said that the exhibition will also provide great opportunity to the public and private officials of both the countries to explore possibilities of promoting trade relations between the two countries as much as possible through direct contact.

The organiser of the said exhibition, Iqbal Ali Judge, has disclosed that he had already held such kind of exhibition in Karachi successfully, two years back, and expressed the hope that Lahorites would give a good response to it.-PPI
