HYDERABAD: Hunger strike unto death by nine employees of Al-Abbas Sugar Mills, Mirwah Gorchani, district Mirpurkhas continued in front of the Hyderabad Press Club on the seventh consecutive day on Tuesday.

Three hunger strikers Ghulam Mustafa Shaikh, Qadir Bux Bahrani and Ali Hassan Lakhi who had fainted due to weakness late on Monday night were removed to LMC Hospital by Edhi volunteers where they were given medical aid.

However, they returned to the camp on Tuesday morning and resumed hunger strike unto death.

A large number of labour and hari leaders and political activists visited the camp and supported the cause of the sugar mills workers.
