Hot spell

KARACHI: Hot spell continued for the third consecutive day on Tuesday with mercury remaining at 42.1 degree Centigrade.

The minimum temperature recorded for the day was 21.5 degrees celsius. The humidity content was 13 per cent.

There is no abnormality in the weather as always in the months of April and October two maximums and minimum set in, said weather experts at Met Department.

The low pressure developed over Rajhastan (India) is the cause of hot spell but the sea breeze which is now setting in will bring some relief to the Karachiites, said weather pundits.-APP
