KARACHI: A party of CIA Police headed by Sub Inspector Raja Umar Khattab raided a house in Haider Chali, Banaras Chowk and arrested five alleged criminals along with a big quantity of weapons, Police sources said here on Monday.

Following the raid five persons Ibrahim, Qadir Zaman, Azam Khan, Abdul Rahim alias Gul and Dost Muhammad who, the sources alleged, had gathered with the intention of committing dacoity, were arrested and one M-16 rifle, one Kalashnikov, one 30-bore sten gun, three T.T. pistols and a big quantity of rounds were recovered.

SSP CIA has meanwhile announced cash rewards and appreciation certificates for the raiding party.-APP
