Dealers voice
concern over rise
in petrol price
KARACHI: In a statement issued here on Monday, Abdul Sami Khan, Chairman Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association, has expressed deep concern over fresh increase in prices of hi octaine supreme and regular petrol.
He said, due to this increase, the load and burden will go on the common people, and every day use commodity prices would go up further.
He said that, a week back, a suggestion was sent to the Prime Minister and petroleum ministers for bringing price of kerosene oil at par with price of H.S. Diesel to eliminate possibility of any adulteration. "
The government accepted the suggestion and brought price of kerosene at par". Thanking the government, he said, "now the chances of adulteration in H.S. Diesel has completely diminished.
After the increase, the new prices of petroleum products are as follows:
Hi-octaine Rs 18.40 per litre, Supreme Rs 16.41 per litre and Regular Rs 15.00 per litre.-PPI
