Air chief meets

Sultan Qaboos

ISLAMABAD: Air Chief Marshal Mohammad Abbas Khattak, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force called on His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said, the Sultan of Oman at the royal palace on Sunday. Air Chief Marshal Abbas Khattak is currently on an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The PAF Chief stayed with His Majesty for some time and discussed matters of bilateral co-operation and mutual interest between the two brotherly Muslim countries. The royal audience speaks of the deep rooted ties of brotherhood and friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and Pakistan.

Earlier, the Air Chief Marshal visited the Headquarters Royal Air force of Oman, where he had a meeting with Commander RAF of Oman. He also called on Secretary General Defence, the Chief of Staff of Sultan's Armed Forces, the Commanders of Navy and Army. Other engagements of Air Chief Marshal Abbas Khattak included, the visit to Sultan Qaboos Air Academy and the air bases of Masirah and Khasab.-APP
