KALABAGH DAM

The issue of construction of Kalabagh Dam again resounded in the Sindh Assembly on Monday when opposition member Mumtaz Ali Bhutto referred to yet another statement of Federal Minister Ghulam Mustafa Khar about the start of construction work of the Dam, published in a Sindhi language newspaper.

Mumtaz Bhutto said that although both Federal and Provincial Governments have their Public Relations Departments, none have come out with a contradiction as to the statements of Khar.

Pir Mazharul Haq reiterating Government's policy, reassured the member that construction of Kalabagh Dam will not be allowed without the consensus of all the four provinces.-APP
