AC lower coaches

MULTAN: The President of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khawaja Mohmmad Abdullah has expressed his concern and resentment over the detachment of two AC lower coaches from different Karachi and Quetta bound trains.

He said that Multan had an attraction for the tourists, zaireen of shrines of spiritual saints while a number of foreign investors are establishing thermal power units, Pak Arab Refinery, while it had already had Pak Arab Fertilizers, Zakariya University, Nishtar Medical College, divisional headquarter of Railway and Pakistan Railway earns handsome revenue from this city.

He reiterated his demand to attach two AC lower class coaches and one parlour car with 111-up and 112. Down, Musa Pak rail car and one parlour car with Taizgam with allocation of reasonable quota for Multan. He further said that inspite of repeated requests of the MCCI, Pakistan Railway has not provided in airconditioned coach with Rawalpindi bound Mehr Express, nor had reintroduced the Sargodha bound rail car and Sialkot bound Express.
