SUKKUR: District Bar Association Sukkur has expressed shock over disgraceful remarks against the prominent lawyers by the leader of Opposition Mian Nawaz Sharif.

A resolution adopted at an emergency meeting of the District Bar on Thursday, chaired by its President Maqbool Ahmed Awan, resolved that the members of this Bar were in fact shocked to read the news item appearing in the Daily "Mashriq", Karachi, according to which Nawaz Sharif has uttered disgracing and aggressive remarks against the advocates, including advocates of Supreme Court and High Courts, Vice Chairman Sindh Bar Council, learned members of Sindh and Punjab Bar Councils, Presidents and General Secretaries of various Bar Associations of the country, who were invited by the Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto at Islamabad, and has termed them as "Natho Khera".

The resolution said the members of this Bar have taken serious note of the language used by the opposition leader and are of firm belief that Mian Sahib has lost his mental balance and gone to the lowest level of speaking language which reflects his negative approach and politics.-APP
