KARACHI: Mixed pattern was observed on the Jodia Bazar trading where buying interest was low.

Sectors like dyes, kirana and jute goods encountered changes.

Dyes which maintained firm instance last week saw some movement on both sides of the counter.

Jute goods have been moving downhill these days because of comfortable supplies of the goods against declining level of consumption level followed by low transaction of cotton: Twine 16x3 PTSL turned lower by Re one and Hessian cloth 45x8-1/2, Amin, Indus and Crescent lost each Rs 25.

Kirana and spices were mixed in low trading: Black pepper conceded Rs 150, big cardamom from Tanzania up Rs 100, Cloves gave in Rs 75, Isbaghol ki Bhoosi shed same amount, cummin black gained Rs 600 and darchini rose by Rs 50.

Chemicals were reported firm but some variations were seen in dyes: China dyes quoted at Rs 110, acid dyes India up Rs 30, intrasperse Orange up by the same amount. Sumifix dyes Japan Yellow Golden was quoted at Rs 1050, blue R up Rs 55, blue G 150 percent shed Rs 40.25, red BF 150 percent up Rs 100.
