warned for

private practice

KHANEWAL: The clinics of those doctors would be sealed who are doing private practice and have set up their own clinics, dispensaries and hospitals side by side working in the government hospitals.

This was stated by the deputy Commissioner, Ali Raza and District Health Officer (DHO), Saeed Ahmed Malik while addressing a special meeting held here on Friday. The meeting also finalised the future strategy to ensure attendance of doctors in the hospitals.

Later, the DHO, Saeed Ahmed Malik called at an emergent meeting of the doctors working in the government's hospitals and directed them to remain present in the hospitals during their duty timings and for providing more medical facilities to the people.

He made it clear that strict action under efficiency and disciplines rules would be taken against those who are found absent from their duties. In this regard, no negligence would be tolerated, he warned.-PPI
