CBR amends SRO

on Customs Act

ISLAMABAD: The Central Board of Revenue has issued a notification effecting amendment in its earlier SRO 823(I)/95, dated August 13, 1995.

Following is the text of the notification:-

S.R.O.(I)/96. - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of section 21 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following amendment shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 823(I)/95, dated the 13th August, 1995, and shall be deemed always to have been so made, namely:-

In the aforesaid notification following amendments have been made:

(a) in paragraph 2, for the figures, letter, word and comma "29th September, 1995" the figures, letter, word and comma "29th April, 1996" shall be substituted; and

(b) in paragraph 3, for the figures, letter, word and comma "30th September, 1995" the figures, letter, word and comma "30th April, 1996" shall be substituted.-APP
