BEL bidding
to be put off
for another
10 days
RECORDER REPORT
ISLAMABAD: The bidding for Bankers Equity Limited (BEL) is to be postponed for a further 10 days in order to give sufficient time to the four bidders to fulfil all legal and financial formalities, it is reliably learnt.
Originally the bids were scheduled for April 10. The date was extended to April 15 on the request of the bidders.
The four bidders are (i) LTV Group headed by Rauf Qadri (ii) Prudential Group of Rashidullah Yacoob (iii) Cres Investment Bank, and (iv) Islamic Investment Bank of Parachas.
