honoured
WASHINGTON: Reporters from the Associated Press and Cable News Network will be honoured with this year's Weintal Prize for Diplomatic Reporting.
AP Diplomatic Writer Barry Schweid was selected for his foreign affairs reporting. CNN's Chirstiane Amanpour and Mike Hanna won for the documentary "The Next 50 Years: The UN at War and Peace."
This is the 22nd annual Weintal Prize award, administered by Georgetown University's Institute for the Study of Diplomacy. The awards, a certificate and check for $ 5,000, will be presented next Tuesday.-AP
