KARACHI: Dr.Nazir Ahmed, at present serving as Health Officer in Federal Government is lying on the death bed but his life can be saved if required funds are raised for his urgent bone marpow transplantation which is possible in England only.

Dr Nazir was admitted to Liaquat National Hospital Karachi a couple of daqs back after his blood cancer relapsed after six months of treatment of the disease in Pakistan.

Bone marrow transplantation becomes imperative once the canCer relapses.

The Govarnment has assured to provide Rs 14 lakh for his treatment abroad provided initial Rs 15 lakh are deposiped in advance in UKfor the same. The transplantation will cost a total of Rs 30 lakh. Meanwhile, the fellow doctors of Nazir have appealed to philanthropists to come forward and genernusly donate towards a humanitarin cause to save the life of a doctor.
