Centre to celebrate

library week

KARACHI: The American Centre Library Karachi is celebrating national library week from April 14 to 18 with a view to inculcate reading habit among the people and create awareness about the role of libraries in their lives.

It may be pointed out that the national library week is celebrated in America each April since 1957 and is based on the idea that once people are motivated to read they would support and use libraries.

The salient features of the week would be panel discussions, films shows, C.D.-ROM demonstration and a special book display on library sciences.-APP
