KARACHI: The negotiating teams of MQM-A and Jamaat-e-Islami held a first formal meeting on Saturday at Idara-e-Noor Haq and concentrated substantial issues such as state terrorism in Karachi and Hyderabad, SLGO and KWSB bills passed by Sindh Assembly recently and restrictions imposed by the district administration on collection of hides and skins of sacrificial animals.

Prof. Ghafoor Ahmed Naib Ameer JI led the negotiating team of Jamaat-e-Islami, while Naimatullah Khan advocate Ameer JI Karachi, Iftekhar Ahmed and Hussain Mehnti assisted him. From MQM side, Ajmal Dehlvi led the team and Shoaib Bukhari, Qazi Khalid, Tariq Javed and Sheikh Liaquat were the members. The next, meeting will be held at MQM Azizabad Office on May 8.-PPI
