Journalists, 14 others robbed

LAHORE: A city journalist was among 15 persons robbed by a gang of four dacoits at the Fujifilms office at Napier Road on Saturday.

The dacoits who raided the office of the photographic company got away with cash of Rs 32,000 after forcing the office workers and visitors to hand over the money at gun- point.

Pervez Nadeem Chisti, a reporter for Pakistan Press Agency, who also deprived of his money, said that four dacoits appeared to be Pushtu-speaking.

Gowalmandi Police has registered the case. It may be mentioned that this was the third dacoity committed at the Fujifilm office.

In the earlier robberies, the dacoits had looted the company cashier of Rs 140,000 and deprived the securityman of his rifle.-APP
