against Israel

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore expressing its deep sense of sorrow and greif over the martyrdom of Chechnian freedom fighter and president, Jauhar Daudev has condemned the Russian aggression against Chechnya.

Shoora of JI Lahore which met here the other day with its president, Liaquat Baloch in the chair asked the Muslim countries to raise effective voice against Russian Aggression. Through a unanimously adopted resolution, the shoora observed that this martyrdom would further extensify Chechnian fighting.

Through another resolution, the JI shoora condemned the Israeli bombing at Lebanon. It said that Israel was openly carrying out terroristic activities but America was playing the role of silent spectator over all injustices and violation of human rights and international boundaries.

It also demanded economic and defence sanctions against Israel plus announcement of open war (Jehad) against Israel by all the Islamic countries.-PPI
