SHAHDADPUR: Armed Dacoits shot dead four members of family in a nearby village on Friday night and assaulted their women criminally. They remained there two hours and escaped.

According to details, dacoit Huzooro Brohi alongwith his six accomplices broke into house of Manson Kolhi (50) a local farmer who lived seven kilometers from here in village Goth Maroof Dahri in area of landlord Rais Ghulam Mustafa Sanjrani. They stood him with his sons Visho Kolhi (25), Ramshi Kolhi (22) and his minor son Kolhi in a queue. They molested their women in front of them and later shot all male persons to death.

Dacoits threatened villagers, they would not allow any farmer to work on fields until landlord Mustafa Sanjrani did not pay them Rs 10 lakh.

Police as usual arrived at scene after four hours of the incident and registered a case. It assured villagers, that culprits would be nabbed soon.

Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for Minorities, Mehromal Jagwani in his condolence message expressed sympathy with bereaved family and strongly condemned this brutal crime. He assured he would raise voice in Sindh Assembly regarding excesses being meted out with minorities in rural areas.

This tragic incident created panic among local people especially minorities and they started leaving the area as they were scared of dacoits excesses.-PPI
