LCAS students
get 93 pc result
in LSE diploma
LAHORE: The London School of Economics has declared the provisional result of the LSE Diploma in which students of the Lahore College of Arts and Sciences have achieved 93 percent successful result, 50 percent of them have achieved a distinction, merit or credit.
This is a major achievement for Pakistani students who have never sat for a foreign examination, being mainly students who had completed. Their FA or FSC here in Pakistan. The result is all the more commendable as this is the first exam in which they are competing with students worldwide.
The majority of the students will be continuing at LCAS to complete the degree of the London University. Some students have been admitted from LCAS to the LSE directly in to year 2 and have been awarded full scholarships by the British Council.
The Lahore College of Arts and Sciences is still the only college in South Asia to be accreditied by the LSE and to be offering this programme.
