LAHORE: The project to link Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry through computer network was finalized here at a meeting held at the LCCI premises.

A Q Khalil, Sr. Vice President of the KCCI participated the meeting on behalf of his Chamber. From the LCCI Sh. Wahiduddin SVP, Bashir A. Buksh former President, Akhlaq Ramay, Hamid Ali Beg and S.A Hamid attended the meeting.

A.Q Khalil also examined the computerization work in membership, accounts, R&D and Lahore Trade Centre departments of the LCCI. He was highly impressed by the computer set-up at the LCCI, and admitted that the LCCI was equipped with the most modern computerized equipment to provide its members with the excellent services. He observed that the LCCi expertise in computerization field could highly be helpful for KCCI. He said that he would extend an official invitation to LCCi computer experts to visiting the KCCI.

Sh. Wahiduddin SVP of the LCCi, emphasizing upon the need of computer linkage between the two Chambers offered softwares in this regard quite free of charge from his chamber. He said that the LCCI would extend the fullest cooperation for modernization of the KCCI. He pledged to send a delegation of the computer experts of the LCCi in the leadership of former Executive Committee Member Akhlaq Ramay.
