Asif Ezdi

to Denmark

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has announced the appointment of Asif Ezdi as Ambassador of Pakistan to Denmark, says a press note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued here on Wednesday.

Born on August 11, 1947, Ezdi holds degrees of M.A. and LLB. joined foreign service of Pakistan in October 1969. He has held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan missions abroad at Bonn (1970-74), Rangoon (1974-76), Kuala Lumpur (1976-80), Geneva (1985-88) and Tokyo (1989-92).

At Headquarters, Ezdi has served as Director (1980-85). Presently he is serving as Director General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 28 July 1992. He is married.-APP
