Tuesday's re-adjustment of the rupee by the State Bank of Pakistan did not have any major impact on the currency exchange market in Lahore where the firmer outlook persisted on Wednesday.

The rupee opened at its overnight closing of Rs 32.45 fluctuated a bit around the same figure and recorded the same closing as of Tuesday.

The rupee maintained its position in terms of the other currencies like the Deutsch mark, Pound sterling, Saudi riyal, UAE dirham, and Japanese yen.

Sentiment in the kerb was dull due to the continuous downpour in the city.
