KARACHI: Soyem of Agha Hasan Abedi, the renowned banker who expired on Saturday last after protected illness, was held with Fateha and Quran Khwani at his residence Bank House, Clifton.

A large number of Agha's admirers, friends and relations, senior bankers and the employees of the defunct BCCI and the United Bank participated in the Soyem.

Prominent among them were Yousuf Shirazi, S.S. Jaffry, Foreign Secretary, Sheharyar Mohammad Khan, Syed Hashim Raza, M.A. Bokhari and oter senior bankers
