Egypt offers

flood control

measures

ISLAMABAD: Egypt has conveyed its deep sympathies and sorrow over the damage to human life and material caused by the devastating floods in Pakistan and has expressed its keenness to extend any assistance deemed necessary for flood control.

In a letter addressed to Foreign Minister Sardar Aseff Ahmed Ali, Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Amr Moussa said he had heard the sad news of the devastating flood causing damage to human life and material and he would like to express on his own behalf and on behalf of the Government and people of Egypt his deep sympathies and sorrow.

The Government of Arab Republic of Egypt is keen to extend any assistance deemed necessary for flood control, the Egyptian Foreign Minister assured his Pakistani counterpart.-APP
