Add the Rupee

The rupee depicted a mixed picture against other currencies at the foreign currency exchange counter in Lahore Tuesday.

The rupee which opened at its overnight closing of Rs 32.40 against US dollar, later lost five paisas during the days trading and its closing was recorded at Rs 32.45.

Quite a different trend was observed in terms of pound sterling and deutsch mark, where rupee improved 10 paisas and 15 paisas respectively.

Nevertheless, the rupee maintained its position against Saudi Riyal, UAE Dirham, Indian Rupee and Japanese Yen.
