Bank Robbed of

Rs 2.5 lakh

RAWALPINDI: Three dacoits looted Rs 2.5 lakh at gun point from National Bank Lawrance College Branch, Murree on Monday.

According to details, three armed dacoits aged 24 to 26 entered the bank at 11:00 am and locked the whole staff including the bank guard in the strong room and collected cash amounting to Rs 2.5 lakh and made good their escape. No one could see either they fled away in a car or on foot.

After the incident DSP Muree Khaliq Khan reached the bank and laid "naka bandi" of the area. During the whole episode, no one was reported hurt.

Police have registered a case and started investigation.-PPI
