Iranian expo

in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Khalid Sultan Khwaja, Senior Vice President of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has welcomed the holding of exhibition of Iranian goods in Peshawar and assured SCCI's full support to Iranian government.

He was talking to Rehmatullah Raisi, Vice Consul of Iran at Peshawar who has come to review the arrangements for the proposed exhibition. Former chief of the SCCI, Sufi Bashir Ahmed Durrani, Zahid Bashir, Mian Abdur Rauf and Khurshid Barlas were also present on the occasion.

The Iranian Vice Counsel told that the exhibition would help promote trade relations between Pakistan and Iran.

Khalid Sultan Khwaja recalled that Iranian Ambassador in Pakistan had also suggested the holding of Iranian goods exhibition in Peshawar which was welcomed by the SCCI.

He assured that the SCCI would render all kind of help and support to the Iranian government in this regard. He said the SCCI was holding an exhibition in September this year and "we are ready to give one special stall for Iranian goods".

He also invited the Vice Consul to visit ongoing exhibition in Abbotabad.-APP
