DG's remarks on

violations of rules

KARACHI: A spokesman of Civil Aviation Authority on Saturday clarified a news item appearing in a section of the press quoting the reply of Director General CAA, Air Marshal Syed Masood Hatif in response to a question regarding violation of safety regulations by a pilot, at a press conference addressed by him here on August 2, 1995.

The spokesman said that while praising the experience and professional ability of PIA pilots, the Air Marshal had replied that if any pilot of any airline, violates the CAA rules and its safety regulations then appropriate action would be taken against him.-APP
