Bomb explosion

CARSON CITY, Nev: A car bomb exploded outside the home of a U.S. Forest Service official here, causing damage but no injuries, police said on Saturday.

A spokeswoman with the Carson City sheriff's office said the bomb exploded outside the home of District Manager Guy Pence late on Friday.

Authorities said no one was injured in the blast and investigators from the FBI, Forest Service and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobaco and Firearms were on the scene searching for clues.-Reuter
