HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad branch of Askari Commercial Bank was formally inaugurated by Lt-Gen. Moinuddin Haider Adjutant General, Pakistan Army and Chairman Board of Directors, Askari Commercial Bank Ltd. at an impressive open house ceremony. A large number of high civil and military officials, including the Division Commander, Maj-Gen. Mohammad Afzal Janjua, prominent industrialists and businessmen participated in the ceremony.

Shameem Ahmed, President and Chief Executive of the Bank after the formal opening ceremony, said that the Bank will extend all types of commercial banking services to the customers.

The Bank's main sponsors are Army Welfare Trust, Shameem Ahmed, a very senior experienced banker is the President and Chief Executive of the Bank. The Bank is being run by a team of professionals having varied experience in local and international markets. Askari Commercial Bank has recently been declared Best Commercial Bank in Pakistan by ASIAMONEY and Best Domestic Bank in Pakistan by the EUROMONEY.
