KARACHI: Agha Hasan Abedi, founder of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) passes away in Karachi on Saturday after a prolonged illness.

The former banker was bed ridden for the past few years after suffering an attack of paralysis.

Namaz-e-Janaza of Agha Hasan Abedi will be held on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at the Defence Society Imambargah. He will be later laid to rest in Alibagh.

Immediately after hearing the news of his demise, a large number of his relatives, friends and well-wishers went to his residence in Clifton to convey their condolence.-PPI
