'Drivers must be

aware of goods

they carry'

KARACHI: Sindh Police has warned the truck drivers and owners that by all means, they must have in their knowledge the details of goods being sent from one province to the other on their trucks.

The Inspector General of Police Sindh, has asked drivers and owners of goods trucks that in future while entering Sindh province they should have knowledge about details of goods they were carrying in their trucks.

He said that strick legal action will be taken against such drivers and owners who may avoid giving details of the goods or were found unaware of the details.

It may be mentioned here the driver and cleaner of the truck caught by Karachi CIA from Super Highway alongwith a large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives, in their statements had told police that they were not aware of the nature of goods loaded on the truck.-APP
