Wattoo held

OKARA: The Dastarbandi of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo as head of his clan took place at his native town Wasawaywala on Friday.

The simple ceremony of Dastarbandi was offered by Sajada Nasheen of Hazarat Baba Fariduddin Ganj Shakr Diwan Maudood Masood Chishti.

Only close relatives of Mian Manzoor Wattoo were invited to the ceremony. Mian Ahmad Shuja Wattoo, Mian Naseem Ahmad Wattoo, Mian Mazhar Ahmad Khan Wattoo, Nawab Shahzad Ali Khan, Nawab Javed Umer Khan, Moazam Jehanzeb Wattoo and Zeeshan Wattoo were also present on the occasion.

Besides, Mian Ata Mohammad Khan Maneka, Khuda Bakhsh Tiwana and local prominent political personalities and hundreds of people of the area participated in the function.-APP
