LAHORE: The Lahore Trade Centre (LTC) and the WTC Network of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) will be reorganized in order to make it more attractive Display and Exhibition Centre for the exportable products.

For this purpose a number of measures were adopted in the meeting of the LCCI's Standing Committee on the LTC presided over by Sheikh Wahiduddin, Acting President of the LCCI.

It was decided that in addition to permanent display stalls, occasional exhibitions of different industries will be organized to attract visitors especially interested in those products.

For making the LTC an effective medium of introducing exportable items of industrialists of Lahore, extensive publicity will be launched through Press, TV, Radio and colourful publications to be distributed in Pakistan embassies and trade centre set up in foreign countries by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).

For this purpose Hamed Ali Beg, an Associated Member of the LCCI having vast experience of advertising was designated as the media consultant incharge of publicity campaign.

A sub-committee will be formed for reorganising the LTC and World Trade Network Organization to make them more attractive and purpose oriented.
