Eye drops

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Health (MoH) has advised all the chemists, druggists and other sundry not to sell the lot No. 400021 of Spersadex one percent eye drops, manufactured by Ciba Vision Ltd, because its contents are found to be 57 percent instead of 100 percent.

The ministry has asked all the stockists to return the medicine to the company under intimation to the Chairperson Quality Control of the Ministry of Health.

Chief of the Drug Safety Division of Drug Management and Policies of the WHO Office, Geneva had reported to the MoH that the Production Control Division of the International Office for the Control of Medicines has asked for the withdrawal of the medicine.-APP
