JHELUM: A mobile excise squad deprived a Pakistani returning from Saudi Arabia of nearly 24,000 riyals.

Mohammad Shafiq who belonged to Karimpura Jhelum, had returned to Pakistan after five years. While he was travelling from Islamabad to Jhelum he was stopped by an inspector and a sepoy of the mobile squad near Rewat who snatched the money from him.

Mohammad Shafiq lodged the complaint with the Rewat police but no arrest was made. The man has appealed to the higher authorities to take action against the culprits.-PPI
