QUETTA: Wapda has announced 13 hours long power suspension in some areas for getting electricity from Wapda grid system in Balochistan on Friday.

According to a Wapda announcement this suspension is for converting Quetta Sibi-132kv transmission line into 229 kv transmission line.

Earlier the Wapda had announced suspension of electricity on July 21 but in view of heavy rains and flood situation in the area it was postponed for some time.

The announcement added that electricity would be supplied to parts of the provincial capital by rotation from thermal power station Sheikh Manda Quetta.-PPI
