KARACHI: Three persons were killed and several others injured in different incidents of firing, torture, road accidents in the city on Tuesday.

Bullet riddled body of Shabbir Ahmed, 30, was found lying in Korangi industrial area. It was shifted to JPMC by Edhi ambulance.

The body of Shabbir Ahmed Khan was found lying in a Suzuki pickup parked in Korangi industrial area. He was choked to death as the killers forced him in the water of a pool.

Police constables Dost Mohammad and Ali Gul were injured in targeted firing in Korangi No.2. Both of them were admitted to JPMC.

An unidentified man was injured in sniper firing in Malir area, he was admitted to JPMC. Mohammad Sadiq, 30, was crushed to death under the wheels of a bus in North Nazimabad, Block F. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Two police contables Barkat Ali and Mohammad Ali were injured when some unidentified men riding in a car tried to run them over in Malir area. Both the constables were checking vehicles. As they signalled the car to stop it tried to run them over. Both were admitted to JPMC.

Mohammad Hashim and an unidentified man were injured in two different incidents of firing in Liaquatabad area.

Two armed men intercepted Mohammad Amir who was returning home in a car after drawing Rs.1,30,000 from Muslim Commercial Bank, Clifton, the bandits took away the cash.

Five private cars, two taxies and a motorcycle were snatched on gun point from different localities.
