'Govt holds labour

community in

high esteem'

LAHORE: The Minister for Social Welfare, Punjab, Badar-ud-Din Chaudhry has said that the present government holds the labour community in great esteem and if every member of the society does his work with sincerity and devotion, then we can weed out poverty from the society.

This was stated by him while addressing at the annual convention of all Pakistan Barbars' Association here on Sunday.

He said anybody who does his work with his own hand is respected in Islam and in the Constitution of Pakistan everybody has the freedom to attatch himself with any trade or profession.

He said nobody is great because he is attacked with a certain profession or trade, but his interest and devotion in his job and the service to humanity makes one great.

Badar-ud-Din Chaudhry assured that the provincial government will provide all possible help to resolve the genuine problems of all Pakistan Babar's Association.
