RAWALPINDI: "The killing of a businessman Haji Naseer Abbasi by police lathi charge in Islamabad is a highly lamentable action."

This was stated by Sheikh Muhammad Shabbir, President, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in a press statement issued here on Saturday.

While commenting on the brutal action against the traders by Islamabad police, Sheikh Muhammad Shabbir regretted that the action was called for an unjustified reason. He was of the view that such show of force against the business community should be avoided and all matters should be settled amicably by mutual discussions.

Sheikh Muhammad Shabbir expressed his deep condolence on the death of Haji Naseer Abbasi and sympathized with the grieved family.-PPI
