visit IIU

ISLAMABAD: Six-member delegation of the Institute of Islamic Understanding of Malaysia (IKIM), attached with the Malaysian Prime Minister's office visited the International Islamic University, Islamabad on Saturday. The delegation was received by Dr Anwar Hussain Siddiqui, Acting President, of the university and other high level officials.

A briefing about the university, was arranged for the delegation during which IIU officials informed the delegation about the university and its functioning.

The delegation expressed keen interest in the university's activities and explored the possibilities of cooperation and collaboration between the IKIM and the International Islamic University Islamabad.

Both sides agreed to extend fullest cooperation to each other.

The delegation was led by Prof. Syed Aqil Barakabh of the law faculty of the International Islamic University Malaysia.-PPI
