two paintings to

PTV, Karachi centre

KARACHI: Noted artist Jimmy Engineer has presented two of his paintings to the Pakistan Television's Karachi Centre.

The managin director of PTV, Ms. Raana Shaikh, who unveiled these paintings, greatly appreciated the work of the artist.

The theme of the paintings were: prayers for the peace, and the second one was in honour of the men, women and children who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for the creation of Pakistan".

The general manager of PTV Karachi Station, Abdul Karim Baluch, and a number of officials of the PTV were present on the occasion of presenting the paintings to the PTV Karachi Centre.

Jimmy Engineer said that this was the beginning of donating the paintings for different institutions in the country sponsored by the Cres Bank.

He said that a total of 40 such pieces would be donated to schools, colleges and universities all over the country.-APP
