Few changes on

grain markets

KARACHI: Few changes transpired on the seed and grain markets on the week opening day on Saturday, as most of the commodities changed hands at the previous rates.

Feature of the trading was that sugar rates were quoted by the Grain and Seed Merchants Group after gap of two days. However, it was lower by Rs. 30 to 50 at Rs. 1500. On Sunday, last week, it was priced at Rs. 1530/1550. It appears govt moves have started showing results.

Other changes were in Urad Burma which conceded Rs. 10, danpeas on gram sector shed Rs. 25 and dal beetle dropped sharply.
