MULTAN: The Sub-Divisional Magistrate Multan City, under Section 144 Cr. Pc, has banned overcharging, adultration and sale of fertilizer bags without proper seal with immediate effect.

In an order issued here on Thursday all fertilizer dealers have been asked to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations already formulated by various fertilizer companies, and must avoid overcharging than the rates fixed by the companies.

They must display the price list of the fertilizers at significant places in the shops and issue receipts to the buyers.

Further, the fertilizer dealers would strictly maintain their sale and purchase registers and would present it to the authorities during the raids for checking and verification, etc.

This order will remain effective for two months.-APP
