SUKKUR: District Magistrate Khairpur, Abdul Qadir Mangi has appointed SDM to hold judicial enquiry in to cause of death of accused Ghulam Abid alias Ali Madad s/o Roshan Ali of Taluka Kingri, who expired in police custody at police station Pir-Jo-Goth, District Khairpur due to alleged excessive police torture.

The SDM Khairpur Enquiry officer has annouced that any one who has any knowledge about the death of accused Ghulam Abid should appear in his court for statement to ascertain the real facts and complete the enquiry on merit.
